Our thoughts are with all of those who have been and continue to be affected by the Coronavirus.
It’s important to remember during times of uncertainty and confusion that whilst everything around you may be changing and unknown, the person you love and plan to marry is your constant, your lighthouse in the storm, your soul mate.
Here at Wootton Park, we are working around the clock to limit the disruption for you as much as possible. We have contacted all of our couples who were due to say “I do” over the next few weeks to rearrange. We know that you have saved and worked and planned your socks off for months, even years for this day, but the safety of yourselves, your guests and our staff is of the upmost importance and we have a duty of care to everyone involved.
We are paying close attention to the daily updates given to us by the Prime Minister and his team and acting accordingly. Postponing your wedding day is an incredibly hard decision to make, but the Government and the NHS have been clear about their advice and the health of our loved ones has to come first.
Some things to consider when postponing your wedding are:
- Do I want my wedding to go ahead when so many of my friends and family may be at risk and not able to attend?
- How many of my guests are affected by travel restrictions?
- Is getting married more important then having everything exactly as I planned?
Whilst these are difficult questions to ask yourself, remember that this is for the best, you will still be getting married, your friends and family will be around you and your partner will be by your side throughout.
