“Our wedding day in April was unforgettable and even now our guests are still talking about it. We simply could not have picked a better venue than Wootton park, and we were delighted to become husband and wife at this charming, well managed venue. Right from the start of the process the staff were friendly and enthusiastic, and exceptionally quick to respond to queries and emails which helped us get everything booked quickly and with no hassle. The location is perfect, and even though Wootton Park is close to major cities, it all feels very rural and quiet. We particularly liked how the wedding and reception areas were in different parts of the building, and even though we were extremely lucky with the weather and were able to hold the ceremony at the lake, we knew that had conditions been less favourable, our guests would have been comfortable and would have a place to relax while the reception was being set up. A big advantage of Wootton park!
We were particularly impressed with the range of catering options available and this was a big part of why we chose Wootton Park. We had always wanted afternoon tea at our wedding and when we saw that this was an option, it was an easy decision! The choices of evening food were also wonderful, and our wood fired pizza went down very well with our guests. By the time the pizzas were served promptly in the evening, everyone was eagerly waiting for a slice.
On the day the staff were very organised, and everything was handled expertly. We really felt like the staff wanted our day to go perfectly, and their enthusiasm was much appreciated. We were also very impressed by the accommodation on site, we booked the farmhouse for the wedding party which we would highly recommend, and many of our friends and extended family stayed in the very comfortable glamping pods. Sitting around the farmhouse table at breakfast as newlyweds the morning after with all our family is a memory we will cherish forever.
We would recommend this venue to anyone, we were so happy with every aspect of our wedding day and will always be grateful to the staff and venue for making it happen. ”
