“We fell in love with Wootton Park from the moment we set foot in the grounds – the whole experience of the Open Day was so refreshing and welcoming compared to the intimidating experiences we had elsewhere! The beautiful setting, cosy building and kind staff meant that Wootton Park spoke for itself and we found ourselves putting our name and date down after the first visit without feeling pressured to do so. From that moment on, Katie and Becca always found the time for us and were so helpful and supportive throughout the whole process. The thought of planning a wedding went from daunting to an absolute pleasure because of their expertise, calm nature and constant smiles – we honestly can’t thank them enough for all that they did for us and the experience they gave us. Nothing that we asked for was too much – we needed to cater for a variety of tastes but there was plenty of flexibility to have whatever we wanted on our menu and a variety of choices for our guests. Our families had only ever been to traditional Indian and English weddings before so Wootton Park was a brand new type of experience for everyone and it did not disappoint…
The beautiful outdoor ceremony area was the perfect setting to bring everyone together, and everyone commented on how wonderful and unique it was to be outside – a refreshing change from more traditional venues and brought a sense of calm leaving everyone at ease and mingling before the ceremony started. The food was absolutely delicious and everyone commented on how tasty it was (and how much there was!). Everything ran so smoothly and Katie and Becca were always on hand if anything was needed.
We had such a fantastic time, and only wish we could do it all over again. Wootton Park will hold a much loved place in our memories forever.
